The location was great and lovely, on the waterfront, it's a plus. We had enjoyable breakfasts with cheeses and yogurts and breathtaking views.

The location here was great for me, it was so convenient. It's near the sea and Amalfi Coast, with a bus stop right outside, and you can also enjoy the mountains nearby. For breakfast, there was plenty of food available and it was decent. 🌄.

The location it has near Amalfi Coast, and water taxi is good and incredible. The staff are attentive, they keep the place fairly clean. Delicious breakfast with great view, thanks a lot.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel although on a main road was very clean and quiet and once the steps were climbed the views from the terrace were amazing. The food was very good although quite expensive but you expect food to be expensive in Italy. We had the economy room which was ample for us as we were only staying five days. Would it have been longer I think a room with a view would have been a must. Lovely coast line but not many beaches and the busy roads prevented one walking anywhere.
I think the steps up to the hotel was the only thing I didn't like but having said that you wouldn't have had the lovely views without them.

Was a lovely little hotel, very quiet, a little way out of Praiano, but easy to use buses to Praiano or Positano. Restaurant in the hotel or restaurants nearby. Was a good starting point for the Footpaths of the Gods walk. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quieter place to stay on the Amalfi Coast.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good meals and breakfast in house and very good Glutin Free pasta at restaurant 2mins walk up road over the beach. Bus stops at the bottom of the driveway. I had a v small room for one; clean and comfy with Air con and lovely onsuite overlooking coastline for a good price. Praiano is more relaxed and less full with tourists than Positano so I liked that and the views were as good. Access to Trails of the Gods is fine from here and one can take the bus up to start the walk at Agerola.

The view from the hotel, particularly the dining terrace was fabulous. The continental breakfast selection was very good. Staff were helpful, particularly Raffael, the waiter cum porter etc. We'd asked for a room away from the road so were on the third floor with a small balcony but could step onto the roof terrace, with sunbeds, that overlooked the sea - lovely. The bus stopped outside so it was very convenient to buy a three day pass & go to Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi & Ravello (change at Amalfi). It saved the hassle & cost of parking in the towns & the challenge of driving the coast road which can be rather un-nerving, especially on the weekends when the bikers come down to enjoy the thrills of those tight bends & blind corners! Both my wife & I actually enjoyed the experience occasionally but not every day.
When booking we didn't realise there was a long, steep slope to climb to the hotel. If lucky one could drive up & park at the top but if the car park was full one had to use the secure car park at the bottom. (You could drive up to unload bags & then reverse down). There were then 27 steps to reception from the top of the slope. The hotel did what we asked in giving us a room away from the road but there was no lift! My fit wife (66) coped well with the stairs etc. but it was a bit of a struggle for me (77) with a few health problems. We would recommend this hotel which was excellent value for money but just be aware if you're not as fit as you once were.

Staff at La Perla were absolutely amazing. We had been in Europe for 10 weeks when we stayed at La Perla and of all the hotels we had stayed in, La Perla was the best. The staff assisted with luggage when we booked in and again when we booked out. The hotel is on a corner and a staff member held the traffic for us to depart. My wife was not well during our time at La Perla and the staff went out of their way to provide anything that would make her more comfortable, even to arranging for special meals not on the menu. They would enquire as to her recovery and were eager to do all they could for both of us.

Amazing location, lovely and helpful staff, good breakfasts, stunning view, free parking and wifi. Good value for money too!
There were only 2 things I didn't like in room 204: 1) the shower head was broken and difficult to use, plus the shower curtain was too long and made slipping in the tub a danger. The second thing is 2) one side of the double bed in our room was extremely soft and sagging. The other side was nice and firm but unfortunately for me, my boyfriend had that side! I found sleeping a little uncomfortable due to the poor mattress quality on my side of the bed.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
